If you're in Jersey City, a trip to Torico Ice Cream is a must! A local favorite that's been around for generations, they offer an incredible variety of flavors, but the Coconut Cream will always be my favorite along with sesame, cherry pistachio and chocolate cookie. Rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious! It's the perfect spot for a sweet treat that never disappoints🍦🍨🤗🙌

My favorite ice cream spot and I’ve been meaning to leave a review. I’ve been coming here for years and I must have the vanilla chocolate chip in a waffle cone every time. I can’t switch up. My daughter is obsessed too now. Now I need one after writing this review!

This is one of the best ice cream place in Jersey city. There is a big line all the time but it goes faster. Most of the flavors are good but my favorite is Vanilla Icecream. I highly recommend this Ice cream parlor.

Established in 1968, this long-established shop makes all its ice cream in-house. Not only are the portions generous, but the texture is also incredibly smooth and silky, without any icy crystals or a hard, frozen consistency. Holding it or tasting it gives a substantial, high-quality feel. However, the consequence is that even the staff struggles to scoop it out with their spherical ice cream scoops, let alone the disposable plastic spoons provided to customers. Green Tea: The highest praise Chinese people can give for desserts—not sweet—and it truly tastes like green tea, not matcha. The refreshing bitterness was incredibly pure, even bordering on slightly bitter, which is extremely rare in the US. Vanilla Peanut Butter: Very milky, but extremely salty, like eating peanut butter spread on bread. The vanilla flavor was almost completely masked. Coconut & Cream: I've always trusted American coconut ice cream, but this time it was a bit of a disappointment. The cream completely overshadowed the coconut, so much so that it took me a long time to recall what flavor I actually ordered. I had an amazing time. I went there Monday night at 7 PM. There are so many cool flavors to choose from so it took me a while to decide but I choose a hot fudge brownie sundae. It is a brownie on the bottom, 2 scoops of ice cream, whip cream, fudge sauce, and marischo cherry. I had pinapple ice cream(a summer flavor) and vanilla peanut butter. It was amazing. The ice cream was rich, creamy and fresh! The customer service is fast. Even though it was busy, it moved quickly and I got my order in less than 5 minutes from ordering.
